QJ Motorcycles Heading For SA

QJMotor is the flagship brand of the Qianjiang Group, a Chinese giant that’s been building bikes since the mid-‘80s. Over the past decade, it’s become China’s largest bike brand, with operations across Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

It’s not a stand alone brand, parent company Geely (yes, the one that owns Volvo and has stakes in Lotus and Polestar) has been the biggest shareholder since 2016.

That kind of backing means serious investment in design, quality, parts and tech.

Its a massive enterprise...

The company went global by launching the Keeway brand in 1999, and in 2005 acquired the legendary Italian motorcycle brand Benelli.

2020: The QJMotor brand was formally established and launched into the global market to emphasize the company’s commitment to higher-quality, modern, and intelligent motorcycles.

2022: The MBP Moto brand was introduced at the EICMA motorcycle show, signaling a new focus on high-performance, modern-design motorcycles.

Present: QJMotor continues to focus on technological innovation, integrating smart connectivity into its products and expanding its global presence through a strong distributor network and after-sales support.

The SRK 125’s round off the line-up with some sharp styling and big-bike looks. They look like great looking machines for new riders.

While we don’t know exactly which models will be brought into SA, the KMSA group has acquired the rights to bring the brand in and we’ll be seeing them on showroom floors soon.
