The SASCS and Vereeniging Kart Circuit changed things up for round 3. The decision was made to ride the track counterclockwise which made for some great racing. With thrills and spills the order of the day there was plenty of action.

Heat 1.
Tyler Purificati on #218 took pole position. The flag dropped and the kids took off with enthusiasm. Purificati remained up front with #238 Liam Smith chasing her down fast, but when the chequered flag came out it was Purificati for the win with Smith in a very close 2nd place and #34 Eric Ferreira followed in 3rd.
Heat 2.
Smith took an early lead with Purificati on his tail, all was going well until a few laps in when Purificati went off the track and on to the grass, she managed to stay on two wheels and rejoined the race at the back of the pack. Smith claimed 1st place, Ferreira took 2nd and #143 Tsebo Mafokate finished in 3rd.
Heat 3.
Smith got off the line very quickly and entered turn one as the leader and he kept his pace all the way to the end to secure 1st overall with Mafokate coming through in 2nd place. Ferreira was running in third and on the second last lap Purificati took the inside line on the last corner and clinched the 3rd spot.

Heat 1.
After a very close qualifying round #550 Marnitz Otten took pole position. The riders had a clean start with the two EDF Team mates Otten and #26 Ethan de Freitas leading the charge. Otten claimed the win with De Freitas in 2nd followed by #14 Quandre Potgieter in 3rd place.
Heat 2.
Off the line Otten and De Freitas pulled away from the pack and fought for first place. A couple of laps in Potgieter and #27 Kiros Taliotes were in a battle for the fourth when Potgieter tucked the front and crashed, he was back to his feet in no time yet had a bit of trouble getting his bike started but managed to rejoin the race eventually. Up front De Freitas took the win with Otten in a close 2nd place and #13 Lugisile Tom taking 3rd.
Heat 3.
De Freitas and Otten clashing in the front and the rest of the riders putting on a good show. As they crossed the line Otten clinched the win with De Freitas next to him in 2nd place and they were followed by Tom in 3rd.

Heat 1.
15 riders took their place on the grid with 6 Junior riders. Some of the junior riders were giving the senior riders a tough time with #110 Bohlale Mafokate leading. Mafokate kept a strong pace that saw him cross the line in 1st place, #40 Lorenzo de Ponte took 2nd and #74 Tristan Andalaft finished 3rd.
Heat 2.
Mafokate led from the start with #22 Blake Robert and De Ponte were in a heated battle for second. Mafokate took the flag for the win, Robert grabbed 2nd and was followed by De Ponte in a very close 3rd.
Heat 3.
The last race saw a bit of drama early on, De Ponte was doing well before he taking a tumble, senior rider #17 Jarrod Geypen also went down soon afterwards and the red flag came out. De Ponte had to retire early due to a faulty fuel line. With the restart it was clear that there would be no stopping Mafokate as he flowed through the track all the way across the line to secure 1st place, Robert finished in 2nd and Andalaft took 3rd.
150 Senior Cup.
Heat 1.
The senior riders took up the front row of the grid with King Price Extreme Rider #22 Cayden Robert in pole position. #11 Ryan van Nieuwkerk quickly took the lead from Robert and was storming his way through the laps with Robert hot on his tail. Van Nieuwkerk took the win and was shortly followed by Robert in 2nd and #26 Oratilwe Phiri finished in 3rd place.
Heat 2.
Starting heat 2 Van Nieuwkerk went off into the tyre wall losing his fairings, he remounted and rode off like nothing happened. Robert was leading the charge with #41 Jason van Breda in tow. Robert finished in 1st place with Van Breda in a close 2nd followed by Phiri in 3rd.
Heat 3.
Van Nieuwkerk and Robert had a solid battle from the start with Phiri not far behind. The three riders gave no quarter until the very end with Van Nieuwkerk claiming the win, Robert finished in a close 2nd and Phiri followed shortly in 3rd place.

Heat 1.
From pole position Louw just flew through the laps and crossed the line in 1st place, #711 Tristan Swart took 2nd and was followed by #43 Daniel Rees in 3rd.
Heat 2.
Another good start from Louw had him speeding ahead of the rest of the riders, he kept his race line clean and finished in 1st, Swart claimed 2nd place and Rees took 3rd.
Heat 3.
Louw banged off the line and rode hard, he finished with a perfect race day winning all the heats from pole position, Swart took 2nd again with Rees taking the 3rd spot.

Heat 1.
After qualifying #17 Jarrod Geypen on a Kawasaki 400 Ninja took pole. #32 Raube Ferreira took the holeshot but by the second lap Geypen had taken the lead. Geypen rode his way to the win, Ferreira took 2nd and #33 Darren Mortimer finished in 3rd place.
Heat 2.
After another clean start to the race Geypen took the lead and stayed there until he claimed 1st place, Ferreira took 2nd and Mortimer followed in 3rd.
Heat 3.
The C2 class’ last race of the day was not going to be a cake walk for Geypen as Ferreira gave him all sorts of trouble from behind. Geypen took the win with Ferreira crossing in a close 2nd place, Mortimer secured 3rd.

#550 Marnitz Otten took pole, bolting off the line he just kept going. Behind him #100 Tanner Oosthuizen and #17 Liam Bronkhorst was fighting for the number three spot. Otten finished in 1st place followed by #27 Kiros Taliotes in 2nd, Oosthuizen managed to keep Bronkhorst behind him and took 3rd with Bronkhorst not far behind in 4th.

Otten took the holeshot and didn’t look back as he navigated his way to the win, Taliotes took 2nd with Oosthuizen in 3rd.
Heat 3.
It was all about Otten in their final race as he just powered his way to a comfortable victory. Oosthuizen had a great race that saw him take 2nd place and Taliotes had to fight his way to claim 3rd.

Supermotards.
Combining the SM races saw a total of 15 riders in four different classes, SM1, SM1S, SM2 and SM Grand Masters.

Heat 1.
The reigning champ #1 Aston Nesbitt took the number 1 spot on the grid. It was really something watching all 15 bikes dive into turn one and come out the otherside with no complications. Nesbitt had his hands full as #63 Thabang Keswa went on the attack which made for some epic racing. There was too much action throughout the pack to mention them all. At the end of the race Keswa came through and stole the win with Nesbitt right there in 2nd place, #52 Troy Tonking followed in 3rd.
Heat 2.
Nesbitt and Keswa were masters of the game as they just showed off their talent with Tonking lurking in the background. This time Nesbitt came flying down the final sector and took 1st place, Keswa followed shortly in 2nd and Tonking took 3rd.
Heat 3.
As always the Motards never disappoint in making the last race of the day a truly spectacular show. There were full on brawls taking place as the riders came out swinging. Again it was the same culprits that stole the show, Nesbitt and Keswa fighting tooth and nail. In the end Nesbitt was the victor, but by the smallest margin as Keswa took a close 2nd and Tonking finished 3rd.
SM Grand Masters.
With only one entry for the Grand Master class, #63 Kevin James took 1st place.
