ZX-10 Masters Cup – Rounds 5 & 6 Double Header at the Festival of Motoring.

There’s always a special buzz at Kyalami when the Festival of Motoring rolls into town. With so much to see, do, and experience, it’s a family day out like no other. But for motorcycle fans, one event always steals the spotlight: the ZX-10 Masters Cup.

Race 1.

King Price Extreme rider #1 Clinton Seller lined up on pole position, joined by #821 Damion Purificati and #41 Graeme van Breda on the front row.

As the lights went out, the roar of engines filled the iconic Kyalami circuit. Seller wasted no time taking control, while thrilling battles erupted through the pack.

Seller crossed the line in 1st, Purificati fought hard to secure 2nd after a fierce scrap with #469 Adriaan van Dalen, who completed the podium in 3rd.

Race 2.

Once again, Seller took an early lead, with Purificati glued to his rear wheel. Further back, a three-way fight for 7th between #15 James Barson, #31 Keith Agliotti, and #16 Brian Bontekoning had fans holding their breath.

At the flag, Seller completed a double win, with Purificati 2nd and Van Breda in 3rd. The battle for 7th was decided by just half a second, Barson narrowly ahead of Agliotti and Bontekoning.

From the opening lap, Seller was in full attack mode, gradually pulling clear of the field. While he stretched away at the front, close battles raged throughout the midfield, keeping spectators entertained.

Seller powered across the finish to secure another commanding victory. Purificati once again claimed 2nd, with #78 David Enticott earning a well-deserved 3rd.

Race 2.

The day’s final race had it all bold overtakes, late braking, and relentless wheel-to-wheel racing.

Seller, however, remained untouchable, completing a flawless weekend with his fourth consecutive win. Purificati’s consistency netted him another 2nd, while Van Breda returned to the podium in 3rd.
