Brad Binder – Whataboytjie!

Moto GP –  Jerez:

All we are going to say is that if you missed it…

You missed out.

Francesco Bagnaia is back in front of the 2023 MotoGP World Championship after claiming a brilliant victory at the Spanish Grand Prix at Jerez.

We saw some of the most exciting racing in the history of racing as he literally banged bars and slogged it out with KTM’s Jack Miller and then managed to sneak past our own BB33 who led the race from the start.

Bagnaia posted the fastest lap of the race with five laps remaining and made his move on Binder the following lap at Lorenzo Corner. Pecco earned it after a hard fought battle, he managed to take Binder just  4 laps from the end.

Man it was a glorious race!

The world champ was a class act on the day...

Binder was forced to settle for second but moves up into third place in the championship, 25 points behind Bagnaia. The South African won the sprint race on Saturday afternoon in superb style!.

KTM has found speed and handling this weekend.

Surely they are now a real force to be reckoned with for 2023.

The  reigning world champion is once again the leader of the World Championship.

He is now at 87 points, against 65 for Marco Bezzecchi, who slid out while fighting for a top-10, and 62 for Brad Binder.

Miller had some fun early in the race, after being pushed around by Bagnaia. He in turn pulled a scary move of his own on Martin at the final corner. It was fantastic to watch, these boys have some proper brass ones!

Pedrosa on the charge. Fastest lap during testing. 7th on the day.

Martin finished the race in fourth, while Aleix Espargaro completed the top five for Aprilia.

Luca Marini was sixth onboard the Mooney VR46 Ducati, ahead of Alex Marquez and Takaaki Nakagami. Fabio Quartararo fought back from a really lousy race to complete the top 10.

Sheer orange joy.
