The inaugural Suikerbosrand Vintage Challenge is an exclusive event for pre-war cars and motorcycles in the beautiful Suikerbosrand Nature Reserve.

This event is exclusively for pre-World War II vehicles, offering a rare opportunity to drive or ride through one of Gauteng’s best-kept secrets on roads closed to public traffic. 

Marvel at the stunning landscapes and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow vintage vehicle enthusiasts as you take on this unique 40km journey…”

Bright and breezy, 6am, Kareekloof gate.

Prizes will be awarded for the best-dressed individuals and the most impressive vintage machines…

Welkom, Kimberly, Uppington, Springbok, Van Rhyndorp, Tulbagh, Oudtshoorn, Graaf Reinette, Bethulie, Clarens, Heidelberg…

3 rest days along the route.

Cars, 1960 and older. Bikes, 1946 and older

Younger vehicles can join the touring class.
