The Muscle.
Here’s a bike that caught our eye at the 1000 Bike Show. Turns out that it was built by Tyres incorporated’s own Jason Miller over a few years. We asked to do a feature back then – but, as these things go… there was still more to be done.
Eventually, we pinned him and the bike, down.
It all started as a 2014 V-Rod Muscle. In standard trim, those Harleys are lekker – but Jason saw great potential to build something a little bit unique.
Under The skin:
The list is long and illustrious.
Black is the theme, black bodywork and engine, blacked out bolts, Custom 50mm Black chromed exhaust with V and H cans.
In stark contrast, the frame is Candy Apple red along with red accents like the levers, brake calipers and some pinstriping on the carbon fibre wheels.
Look closer – the cam caps are little skulls, holographic details are all over the place…
So flippen cool.
The brand new BST wheels complement the colour scheme so beautifully and take a look at those tyres – branded Muscle..
Out back you’ll find Custom Sportster shocks.
That’s just the beginning. Jason has sourced so many bits and bobs for the bike – custom seat, grips, levers, bar ends, mirrors complete with LED indicators.
Check out the MX style footpegs and the knuckle duster pillion pegs. Up front he’s fitted an LED projector headlamp and cover.

Rounding things off is the custom number plate holder and a red underglow LED light kit.

Under the stock clocks, you’ll find a Dynojet display – that tells you that this bike is faaar from standard.
Engine mods The beauty is not just skin deep. This engine has been breathed on too:
Built by Alain Jeanrenaud, Clubhouse Motorcycles.
Destroyer cams, Destroyer oversized valves running on titanium springs.
The cylinder heads have been ported and flowed.
The bike is fitted with a Dynojet power commander 5 Dynojet auto tuner, complete with
Wide band fuel/air sensors. A DNA race air filter is fitted.

To round things off just so, he’s fitted a Nitrous Oxide 20hp dry shot into the airbox.
The traffic cops don’t stand a chance!
