Cyprus to South Africa

Cyprus to South Africa on a Yamaha Scooter

If you have real wanderlust, you’ll make a plan…

Earlier this year, we caught up with Nikos Leontis who rode his Yamaha X-Max 300 on a 44000KM Journey from Cyprus to The Cape. It took him more than a year to do the trip – and just goes to show that If you have real wanderlust, you’ll make a plan…

This feature was delayed – with apologies to Nikos, we’ll meet soon and we’ll explain it all.

He has one heck of a story to tell – he almost gave up at some points – he worked as a volunteer in countries, helping people out and raising cash in order to continue.

He met a wheelchair bound Jewish man who was stranded in Gambia, with no papers or passport. Along with some Gambian friends, Niko helped him to raise the cash to get a passport – and ultimately home.
