At the beginning of this year Honda Wing South Africa embarked on a tour of all the Honda Wing dealerships in South Africa with a couple of trailer loads of Honda demo bikes. The idea is to get as many people around the country as possible to ride and experience a Honda motorcycle. On Saturday the 1st of March 2025 the team from Honda Wing SA rolled into Honda Wing Centurion for the 3rd installment of the Tour.
Albie Eagar and his team at the Centurion dealership went all out, firstly running a great ad campaign with this fine publication which resulted in a lot of feet through the door on Saturday. We don’t know exact figures for the day, but we do know that they managed to get 32 test rides done in 4 hours as well as a ton of trade in assessments sorted. When we spoke to Albie on Monday morning, he was busy signing off his fourth “Offer To Purchase” and still had a few more to go.
Everybody that went out on a test ride was given a Honda Wing Centurion shirt for free just because….
Over and above that, there were a lot of lucky draw prizes and most participants and their nearest and dearest went home with a Honda memento. You really do meet the nicest people on a Honda.
