Saturday, 11 October 2025, started out quiet at Inkwazi Lodge in Roodeplaat, Pretoria. By mid morning, the silence was shattered by the sweet rumble of exhausts as the brothers and sisters of the road began to roll in. The Nemesis Motorcycle Club celebrated its 13th birthday bash, and the word was out, this was the place to be.
The venue was packed! Iron Skulls MC, Cartenis Canis MC, The Dregs MC, The Core MC, and so many more other clubs filled the grounds. More than 200 bikers and supporters turned up, bringing with them the unmistakable vibe of the South African biker community.
That mix of chrome, rubber, leather, and genuine camaraderie that you just can’t fake. The party really came alive when the band “Hit & Run” took to the stage. The local legends pumped out a high octane set of old-school rock favourites mixed with a few new hits. Boots were tapping, voices were raised, and even the toughest bikers couldn’t resist a bit of a shuffle.
Mid set, President Morné of Nemesis MC grabbed the mic for a surprise tribute, singing a song for his good friend Prez Danny from The Core MC, who couldn’t make it after a leg operation. The crowd stood still for a moment, soaking in the sentiment. Brotherhood runs deep within the Biker community and moments like that prove it. “It’s not just about the bikes, it’s about the bond.”
The Pretoria sun played along perfectly and as the day heated up, the pool at The Shed Pub & Grill became a popular pit stop, kids splashing, adults cooling down, laughter everywhere. Nobody went thirsty. The Shed had the drinks cold and the prices right. With good food on the grill and a relaxed atmosphere, it was the perfect combo of biker chaos and family fun.
We were onsite snapping arrival photos of every biker as they rumbled through the gate, a killer keepsake that many proudly took home. Group shots, candid laughs, and plenty of “caught in the moment” photos gave the event that authentic biker family feel. The memories made at these jols always ride on long after the engines have cooled.
As night fell, President Morné took a moment to thank everyone who made the day possible, the clubs who showed up in force, the loyal supporters, The Shed Pub & Grill for the epic venue, and Hit & Run for their powerhouse set.
He wrapped it up with a grin and a promise: “See you all next year at Nemesis MC’s 14th Birthday Bash, it’s gonna be even bigger!”
Another successful chapter for Nemesis MC, proof that biker brotherhood in South Africa is alive, loud, and proud. From the first rumble of engines to the last raised glass, the 13th Birthday Bash was pure biker respect, loyalty, and the love of the ride, and really that is truly what it’s all about at the end of the day.
