Ducati’s new dealership in Claremont, Cape Town

Well….. almost!

We wandered down to Claremont expecting to see Ducati Nirvana, what we found was a cool old Colonial styled hotel that has been renovated nicely and is still in the throes of having all the shopfitting done.

Situated on the corner of Imam Haron and Cook roads in Claremont, the new Ducati dealership is in a bustling neighbourhood attached to the side of Audi Centre Claremont.

The hotel set up is very much in keeping with Ducat’s aesthetic according to Daniel Wexler, DP of Audi Centre who will also be taking Ducati Clarmont under his wing. Daniel is a transplant from KZN.

He is very passionate about motorcycles, in fact the more MX well versed of you out there might have already recognised his name and are starting to put 2 and 2 together. He’s raced against and is still good mates with the likes of David Goosen and Co.

He also happens to love Ducati.

Daniel took the time to show us around the new dealership.

The building looks absolutely brilliant on the outside with Ducati branding along the slick new windows, a special touch to the glorious old hotel.

The workshop has progressed the furthest and is nearing completion. The shop fittings are en route from Italy and all the plans have been drawn up along with all the renderings of what everything will look like…

Its going to be pretty spectacular.

Daniel, quite naturally, is really excited about Ducati’s new dirt bike, but gets a twinkle in his eye when he chats about the Panigales.

He says the dealership should be up and running sometime in June 2025.

His biggest challenge now is putting the best team together to get the whole lot operational. When we visited, he was on the hunt for top notch technicians and sales staff – so, if you’re well versed in all things Ducati, have an exemplary work ethic and track record here’s an opportunity.
