We’ve been talking about this for a long time – winter is a bitter place for many disadvantaged people, and this year, we are launching the first Frosty Buns ride to collect blankets for distribution to people in need.
The plan is to meet at RAD KTM on the Ring Road freeway from around 18h30 on Tuesday evening the 14th of May. There is no cost – just, bring along a blanket. We’ll make sure that it gets to the correct people. We’ll shake up a coffee vendor to get you going.Â
From the shop, we’ll head out for a circuit of the JHB skyline, it’s a lekker ride – and the streets should be quiet in the evening.Â
We’ll end up at Roasty’s Road house in Witkoppen for a hot cuppa before heading for home.
And if you can’t ride with us – please just drop a blanket off at RAD or Guts n Gas. We’ll get it to the correct people.
