Gyppo Work Tuesdays are here again…. with Harley Davidson Mzansi this time. Our last one was with RAD Moto and our Frosty Buns night ride for charity and that was a raging success. The upcoming Gyppo Work Tuesday is going to be in cooperation with Harley Davidson Mzansi and is going to be a lekker afternoon outride around The Cradle.
Come experience what we do – forced to ride motorbikes along stunning roads and sexy scenery…. for a living and when there is nobody around. During weekends, The Cradle is all clogged up with spandex clad peeps on bicycles, tourists and frustrated parents trying to herd their kids. On a Tuesday afternoon, The Cradle is a ghost town and the roads are empty making for some very pleasant riding in the sunshine. THEN! The Cradle is fun to ride.
We have partnered with Harley Davidson Mzansi for this ride and will meet at their dealership in Fourways at 12:00. They will then serve a light lunch and refreshments before ‘clutches out’ at 13:00 sharp for a saunter through the foothills.
THIS IS NOT A RACE or an opportunity to show us how fast you are in the bends. This is a lekker ride with a nice bunch of people along some lekker quiet roads in the sunshine to soothe your soul and clear your head. All road legal bikes are welcome, whether you are on a cruiser and adventure bike, a sport bike or even a scooter as long as you can maintain legal speed limits and the cops won’t squeeze you for a cooldrink, you are welcome to join the ride.
We will end up at Bidon Bistro in The Cradle where Harley Davidson Mzansi will have a couple of demos for you to take a short whip around The Cradle if you would like. There is no cost to join the ride or for lunch at Harley Davidson Mzansi, however you will need a few bucks to cover your bill at Bidon Bistro, who serve all manner of tasty food and deliciously cold refreshments in a tranquil setting.
From there we all head off for home at our leisure.
For catering purposes we are going to need some kind of indication as to how many people will be joining us to avoid you going hungry or us having to snack on leftovers for lunch for the next two months.
