Motul Bio Wash

A lady will buy hand wash, face wash, shampoo, conditioner, dish wash and every other kind of “wash” you might imagine for a specific purpose, whereas as bloke will look for the best stuff to degrease his engine, the skid marks in his jocks, wash his hair and bike with and will almost inevitably buy it in bulk. Well guys, Motul has got you covered with their ‘Bio Wash’

It is a universal, (we like that word), ready-to-use cleaner and degreaser and it is even BIODEGRADABLE so it won’t kill your lawn and make your Mrs grumpy. When they say, “Universal ready-to-use biodegradable cleaner and degreaser for all types of mechanical applications”, they really mean ‘All types of surfaces’ including plastics, you know – that Tupperware dish you snuck out the kitchen to drain your bikes old oil into and now don’t know how to get it clean, synthetic fabrics – those tracksuit pants you got into kak for when you wiped your greasy paws on them and the carpet in her car that you spilled the sauce of your curry takeaway on. Paintwork as well, so you can use it to wash your bike, bakkies, workshop floor and even the lawn furniture. Even varnished woods, metals… if you can think of you can wash it with Motuls Bio Wash, particularly in applications where BIODEGRADABLE products are required and let’s be realistic, we might not be the most refined of God’s creations but we also aren’t complete Neanderthals and don’t want to kill our planet or any of its creature… unless they taste good braaied.

Bio Wash efficiently removes all traces of grease, dust, soil, mosquitoes, (removes all traces of mozzies – summer sales are going to be great then), brake pad residues, mud, in fact mostly anything splattered onto your bike, bakkie, helmet or leathers. It dries evenly and it leaves a dry anti-corrosion film and it protects paintwork and varnish – We like that! So, what makes it ‘Biodegradable’ and environment friendly. It Biodegrades within 28 days at 92% of inherent biodegradability and ultimate biodegradability according to OECD 302B method. Basically, it self destructs back down to its natural elements without killing the birds and the bees in less than a month.

What is the best way to use it? Easiest is with a high-pressure sprayer of any description, spray generously all over the surface to be treated using the “wide jet” position on the gun. Do not wash in direct sunlight. Allow to work for a few minutes. Rinse with water, jet, or steam pressure. For very dirty parts, like that skid mark in your rods, repeat the operation using the position “directed jet” on the gun and rub with a sponge or a rag. Use a soft cloth to obtain a perfect finish. Alternatively, if you prefer you can dilute BIO WASH in water or use directly on a damp sponge. Do not wash in direct sunlight and rinse with water thoroughly. Use a soft cloth to obtain a perfect finish.
