You’ll see that from time to time, we feature 300 PLUS and some of the impressive custom bikes that they build. A few weeks back, we were there and this beasty was front and centre.
What is it?
Well it started life as an M1000XR, which is already an impressive piece of kit, but the owner wanted to build something that was – well shall we say, a bit unique.
We’d say that he got what he asked for.
Carbon Fibre.
Acres of the stuff, but that’s only a small part of it. Ashlay and his team went to town on the bike, sourcing and making just about every conceivable extra that you can think of.
They also undertook the custom paint job. That’s not just bolt on Carbon fibre – it has been breathed on, painted and detailed.
The brake calipers and rear spring strut have been touched up, and 300 PLUS sourced and supplied all kinds of custom goods like covers, mirrors and reservoirs from manufacturers like Rizoma and Evotech.
The list of the stuff on this bike is a long one… Heck! They even fitted disco lights inside the DBK clutch cover.
Exhaust fumes are emmitted via a classy full Akrapovic exhaust system.
The end result is a study in carbon fibre with a classy sprinkling of red detail. We love it!
We Just have to wonder whether Ashlay and the team convinced the owner to fit a set of BST wheels…
