Maxinc

Dealer news: Maxinc.

Back in 2014, Maxinc spotted something that many dealerships overlooked at the time: A growing group of riders who weren’t chasing showroom stock, but who were lookimg for something far more personal.

Café racers, brats, bobbers, rat builds… the kind of bikes that say more about the rider than any spec sheet ever could.

Maxinc leaned into that space early, building its name around a focused selection of custom parts and accessories that spoke directly to that culture. Over the years, it became a familiar name among builders and enthusiasts looking to add a bit more identity to their machines, quietly finding its place within South Africa’s evolving custom scene.

Fast forward a decade, and the brand has entered a new phase.

In 2024, ownership shifted to Craig Pickavance and Jade Holing, bringing fresh perspective while keeping the original ethos intact. One of the biggest moves was putting down roots with a full on showroom and walk-in space in Randburg.

While custom parts like flickers, mirroers, seats and all that are still very much part of the DNA, the shelves now stretch a bit further. Riding gear, apparel, and everyday essentials have joined the mix, catering to a broader spectrum of riders, whether you’re clocking miles on an adventure bike, commuting through the city, or chasing dirt.

They stock most popular brands and a solid range of consumables like batteries, service kits, and cleaning products to keep things running as they should.

More than anything, what stands out is the effort to keep things community-driven. It’s not trying to be exclusive or niche for the sake of it, just a space where riders can connect, share ideas, and keep the culture moving forward.

And that’s where the monthly ride comes in.

On the first Sunday of every month, Maxinc hosts a relaxed motorcycle run open to absolutely anyone. No matter what you ride, you’re welcome to pull through, meet like-minded people, and just enjoy the road for what it is.

Another spot on the map for riders who get it.
