42 year old scoot with 950km’s on the clock gets it’s first free service from Yamaha.

I have a question for you and your crew.
If a person owns a Yamaha Passola 1984 with 940km on.
1 owner with every piece of documentation. The bike is scheduled for its first 1000km service. Will Yamaha still do the free service on the bike as per picture?

That’s the whatsapp we received one balmy Sunday afternoon whilst watching MotoGP. A Forty Two year old bike, with just 940KM’s on the clock.
That’s quite something!
To put that into context, the Yamaha group in SA has undergone a cange of ownership since then!
Calls were made, messages forwarded and the owner delivered the little scoot to Linex Lynwood in Pretoria.
“Of course we’ll honour the service!” was the reply and soon, the little legend received all the new fluids, had her carb cleaned and was purring like a kitten on the workshop floor.
How cool is that!
The 1984 Yamaha Passola SA50ME is a classic 50cc, two-stroke mini-scooter featuring an electric start and an automatic transmission.
