Road Safety with Suzuki Motorcycles

Making Riding Safer.

A magnificent turnout at Suzuki’s famous Road Safety Day at Redstar Raceway saw around 160 riders of all shapes and sizes on all sorts of bikes turning up to enjoy the winter sunshine…

Three hundred bucks included lunch, top notch instruction and a donation to the good folks from Cancervive.

A short classroom session to explain the ins and outs of keeping you and other riders safe when you go out riding was first on the agenda.

Once school was out, riders had their shot at taking their bikes out on the track. There were different classes, ranging from Class B to Class E, depending on newcomers and skill level. Class B is for faster, more experienced riders – class E is for riders who have never been on a track before.

In all classes the Suzuki Safety Instructors go out with the riders to be a helping hand and to make sure that everything stays safe. The instructors are there to point out the correct riding lines to take out on the road.

The importance and impact of events like these  is massive.

It’s most definitely something to be attended by all riders no matter how long they have been riding, you always learn something new as the dangers on the road are forever changing.

Do yourself a favour and join Suzuki and Redstar to make every ride safer and give you peace of mind next time you throw a leg over.

Lekker people, sunshine, motorcycles… what more do you need?

When’s the next one?
