Honda Brunch Cruise Kicks Off 2026 with a Bang

After a disappointing end to 2025, when the final two Honda Brunch Cruise events were cancelled due to rain, Honda wasted no time making up for it. The first Brunch Cruise of 2026 delivered in style, attracting 108 entries and enjoying a perfect hot, sunny day.

The gates opened at Zwartkops Raceway, with the first 20 Honda riders through the gates receiving R200 off their entry fee for the day. The Honda Brunch Cruise is open to all riders, provided you hold a valid licence and complete the required indemnity form, your bike also has to pass scrutineering. Entry costs R700 per rider, with a pillion fee of R140.

Four riding classes are available: Class A is reserved for race bikes, Class B caters for faster riders, Class C is aimed at riders with previous track experience, and Class D is designed for newcomers. The day is fully supported with medics, marshals and riding instructors on hand to ensure safety and offer guidance where needed.

All makes and models are welcome.

All motorcycle brands and engine sizes are welcome. The focus of the day is skill development, giving riders the opportunity to learn proper riding lines and share the track with fellow enthusiasts. Selected Honda models were also available for test rides in both Class C and Class D. Families are encouraged to attend, with a dedicated play area for children, as well as food and refreshments available throughout the day.

Before heading out on track, riders attended an essential briefing covering flag signals and on-track procedures. First-time participants also took part in a short classroom session explaining the circuit layout, ideal riding lines, and the do’s and don’ts of track riding.

Each class gets a 15min track session.

Each class enjoyed 15-minute sessions — more than enough time for riders to gain a proper track experience. By the end of the day, every rider left Zwartkops with improved skills and a better understanding of riding technique, not only on the circuit but on the road as well.

Keep an eye out for the next Honda Brunch Cruise.
