One hundred years. Few motorcycle manufacturers can claim such a milestone, and even fewer have a racing pedigree and cult following to match Ducati.
To celebrate its centenary in 2026, Ducati has unveiled the Collezione 100, a collection of ten limited-edition motorcycles that pay tribute to some of the most important machines in the company’s history. Each model is limited to just 100 units worldwide, making every motorcycle in the collection an instant collector’s item. The range was unveiled at Mugello, one of Ducati’s spiritual homes and a circuit that has played host to countless chapters in the brand’s racing story.
Rather than creating a single anniversary model, Ducati chose ten motorcycles from across its current range and dressed each one in a livery inspired by a legendary machine from the past. From race-winning superbikes to iconic road bikes and adventure machines, the Collezione 100 tells the story of Ducati’s first century through ten modern motorcycles.
Panigale V4 S 100
Inspired by: Ducati 750 Imola Desmo (1972)
The flagship of the collection pays tribute to the motorcycle that put Ducati on the world stage. The silver-and-green livery recreates the 750 Imola Desmo ridden by Paul Smart and Bruno Spaggiari to victory at the 1972 Imola 200 Miles, one of the most important wins in Ducati history.
Panigale V2 S 100
Inspired by: Ducati 750 Super Sport Desmo (1975)
The yellow-and-burgundy colour scheme comes from the 750 Super Sport Desmo raced by Franco Uncini during his championship-winning 1975 Italian season. The bike became one of Ducati’s most iconic sporting motorcycles of the era.
Streetfighter V4 S 100
Inspired by: Ducati 900 Sport Desmo Darmah (1979)
The black-and-gold paintwork is borrowed from the charismatic Darmah. Ducati even recreated the famous tiger-head graphic, making this modern Streetfighter a nod to what many consider the original naked Ducati performance bike.
Monster 100
Inspired by: Monster S4Rs Tricolore (2008)
The Monster 100 celebrates the final evolution of the original Monster generation. Its Italian Tricolore graphics honour the S4Rs Tricolore, one of the most desirable Monsters ever produced.
XDiavel V4 100
Inspired by: 750 Super Sport “California Hot Rod” (1977)
This special XDiavel takes inspiration from the machine ridden by Cook Neilson to victory at Daytona in 1977. The “California Hot Rod” became one of the most famous racing Ducatis of the decade.
Diavel V4 RS 100
Inspired by: Ducati 900 Replica (1979)
The green, red and white graphics are taken directly from the 900 Replica, Ducati’s first true race-replica road bike, built to celebrate the marque’s famous Isle of Man TT success.
Multistrada V4 RS 100
Inspired by: Ducati 500 SL Pantah (1979)
One of the most historically significant motorcycles Ducati ever built, the Pantah introduced the trellis frame and a new generation of engines. The Multistrada’s special livery celebrates this engineering milestone.
Scrambler 100
Inspired by: Ducati 250 Scrambler (1962)
The first Ducati Scrambler, built specifically for the American market, serves as the inspiration for this centenary edition. It represents the model line that would eventually evolve into today’s hugely popular Scrambler range.
Hypermotard V2 SP 100
Inspired by: Ducati 860 “24 Horas de Montjuïc” (1975)
The Hypermotard honours the endurance racer that won the famous 24 Horas de Montjuïc race in Spain. The victory helped cement Ducati’s reputation as a serious force in international racing.
DesertX 100
Inspired by: Ducati Pantah “Ice” (1981)
Perhaps the most unusual inspiration in the collection, the DesertX draws its colours from the Pantah “Ice”, a specially modified machine used for ice-racing demonstrations in the Alps during the early 1980s.
A Century Worth Celebrating
Every motorcycle in the Collezione 100 range is limited to just 100 numbered examples worldwide. Along with exclusive liveries, owners receive special centenary details, numbered plaques, certificates of authenticity and commemorative artwork. Ducati has effectively created ten rolling pieces of history, each representing a different chapter in a century-long story of innovation, racing success and Italian passion.
For most riders, these machines will remain dream garage material. But as a celebration of 100 years of Ducati, the Collezione 100 is a seriously cool tribute to one of motorcycling’s iconic brands.
