To mark the 80th anniversary of its founding, MV Agusta has presented six commemorative models, each recognizable by the laser engraving on the triple clamp or tank protection plate.
The 3-cylinder lineup includes the Brutale RR Ottantesimo, Dragster RR Ottantesimo, F3 RR Ottantesimo, and Superveloce S Ottantesimo. These models have been technically optimised, with a new clutch that promises reduced lever effort and includes both a slipper and torque-assist function.
The Dragster RR is a firm favourite, with the convenient SCS clutch, which allows for riding without using the handlebar lever.
In the 4-cylinder range, the Brutale 1000 Ottantesimo and Brutale 1000 RR Ottantesimo have been tweaked to enhance comfort and they’ve given them more oomph, especially at low and mid-range RPM, thanks to redesigned camshafts.
There’s a new exhaust system, developed in collaboration with Arrow, and a 10-disc slipper clutch with torque-assist.
The Brutale 1000 RR is equipped with Öhlins Smart EC 3.0 suspension, which, based on data from the inertial platform and onboard electronics, self-adjusts according to your ride.
PIERER Mobility AG, the parent company of KTM AG, acquired a majority stake in MV Agusta Motor S.p.A. on March 15, 2024. MV Augusta is imported into SA by The KTM South Africa Group.
