In a significant endorsement for both the dealership by the Gold Wing community, Wing Riders South Africa (WRSA) has recognised Honda Wing Centurion and Honda Wing SA as a preferred supplier for workshop services, genuine parts, new motorcycles and all Honda related requirements. We are told more Honda Wing dealerships nationally may also recieve a similar endorsement.
The announcement was marked by a short ceremony held at Honda Wing Centurion on Monday, 24 November 2025, where a delegation from WRSA presented dealership principal Albie Eagar and his team with a large commemorative banner to be displayed in the workshop. Sources within the association indicate that Honda Wing Centurion is the first dealership in South Africa to receive this prestigious designation.
Albie Eagar, an enthusiastic Gold Wing owner and long time supporter of the club, has built a strong relationship with WRSA over many years. The dealership’s recent sponsorship and presence at the 40th National Wing Fling in Hazyview further demonstrated its commitment to the Gold Wing community, support that clearly played a role in earning this recognition.
Wing Riders South Africa is one of the country’s oldest and one of the most respected motorcycle associations, with active chapters throughout South Africa and representation in neighbouring countries. Founded over four decades ago by passionate Honda Gold Wing owners, the association has grown into a structured national body known for its emphasis on safe group riding, organised touring events and strong camaraderie.
The preferred supplier status carries real weight within this community. With hundreds of members who regularly service, repair and upgrade their touring motorcycles, often covering tens of thousands of kilometres annually, the endorsement serves as a trusted recommendation for quality workmanship and authentic Honda parts and accessories.
“This is a proud moment for the entire team at Honda Wing Centurion,” said Albie Eagar. “We’ve always tried to go the extra mile for Gold Wing owners because we understand the bike and the lifestyle. To be recognised in this way by Wing Riders SA is a huge honour.”
The new banner now takes pride of place in the dealership’s service department, serving as a visible symbol of the partnership between one of South Africa’s leading Gold Wing communities and a dealership that has earned its trust.
Honda Wing Centurion extends an open invitation to all Gold Wing owners, whether WRSA members or not, to visit the dealership and experience the service standard that helped secure this notable achievement. Nice one guys!
