Have you ever considered how one race win can change the whole history of one motorcycle? Neither did Max Biaggi when he won Aprilia’s first ever race win at Brno in the World Superbike Championship back in 26 July 2009.

This one race became the story of legends that sparked an uprising of the brand that claimed not only 44 wins and 102 podiums, but it gave a single model seven World Championships in the forms of 3 Riders and 4 Manufacturers titles. This is and will always be known as the Aprilia RSV4.

Something this historic must be celebrated and that is exactly what Aprillia has done with two special models the Aprilia RSV4 Factory and the Aprilia Tuono V4 Factory SE-09 SBK. 

It will host the iconic livery that was on the bike when Max made history.

Both bikes will come standard with carbon fibre brake air intakes and a carbon fibre front mudguard. The number of the model will be displayed on top of the fuel tank and this is how the SE-09 SBK Special Edition was born.

Aprilia unveiled the two special edition bikes to the public on the greatest stage on earth, the MotoGP Grand Prix of the Americas to be exact in Austin Texas. The new RSV4 Factory and the Tuono V4 Factory was unveiled by Aprilia Racing Factory Riders Aleix Espargaró and Maverick Viñales.

The Aprilia V4 Factory SE-09 SBK will bare the same livery of mostly black with white and red trim characteristics trim on the fuel tank, lug, top and bottom fairing, just the way it was when it took the world by storm on its debut in the WSBK…
